9 days left to claim your free Windows 10 upgrade

By now, you have probably had dozens of reminders and notifications, badgering you to upgrade your machine to Windows 10. It can often be daunting upgrading to a new platform as there are many questions up in the air.

Are you still working with Windows 7 or Windows 8?

Windows 10 is the latest version of the Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating system. It is the fastest and most secure version yet produced. Windows 10 continuously upgrade and improved whilst the older Windows 7 and 8 has not been upgraded or improved for years.

Microsoft are currently offering a free upgrade to Windows 10 if you upgrade before 29th July 2016. After 29th July 2016, Windows 10 will need to be purchased at around £120 per license.

Will I lose all my data and settings?

Understandably, this has been one of the most popular questions throughout the Windows 10 upgrade. Before undertaking any updates or upgrades, we always recommend you back up your data incase the worst happens. Millions of Windows users have already updated their operating system with little to no troubles. By selecting ‘Keep Windows settings, personal files, and apps’ option, theoretically, you shouldn’t lose your personal data however, always take a backup to avoid the risk.
